At Copenhagen Zoo, we work every day to preserve the world’s animal species – and you can be part of it!
We keep animals at the Zoo as ambassadors for their species and, in some cases, to ensure that their descendants may one day be released back into the wild. But we must act now – since the 1970s, more than half of the world’s wildlife has disappeared.
The staff at Copenhagen Zoo are deeply committed to caring for animals, conducting research, and advancing conservation efforts to improve biodiversity and protect endangered species.
We Need Your Help
On selected days throughout the summer you can join us at Copenhagen Zoo to support global efforts to protect nature and wildlife.
All you need to do is take part in a 45-minute session with one of our Zoo Guides, who will give you insight into the vital conservation work being done.
You’ll leave with practical knowledge and, as a thank-you, you’ll receive a free ticket to climb the Zoo Tower.
Please note that a valid entrance ticket is required to visit the Zoo. By purchasing a ticket, you’re also supporting our projects to protect endangered animals.
You can buy your ticket online or at the entrance to Copenhagen Zoo.
