A new season brings new experiences - get close to the animals, follow the cubs' first steps and enjoy spring in the heart of Copenhagen.

New: The Leopard Trail
On 18 March, Copenhagen Zoo opened its new 160-metre Leopard Trail, giving the leopards the opportunity to roam and explore a natural and varied terrain. For you as a visitor, this means a close encounter with one of the world's most beautiful predators in motion.
You can see the leopards in several places across the zoo - above you, near the Elephant House and all the way down by the pandas.

When the sun is out, the chimpanzees are often outside in their new outdoor area - and it is worth a visit. Watch them climb, play and enjoy the sun. Spring is one of the best seasons to catch them outdoors foraging for fresh shoots.

The new elephant calf grows every day. When the weather is good, you can experience the elephants outdoors - and the little one is hard to miss. A visit you will remember.

Copenhagen Zoo now has two new giraffe calves - and another is on it's way. Come and see them on the savannah and follow what is happening in the giraffe herd.

Did you know that 80 percent of the world's animals are active at night? In Night Zoo you can meet some of them up close - in the dark.
