Activities at The Zoo
Exciting quizzes and creepy crawlies in the meeting room and out in The Zoo

Ready for a fun and educational activity?
If you are working or attending a meeting at The Zoo, there are plenty of opportunities to liven up your day with an activity inspired by the animal world.
For example, do you know what a rhinoceros’ horn is made of? And would you dare say it out loud so the whole company can hear? Or have you ever held a leopard gecko in the palm of your hand? These are just some of the experiences you – and your colleagues – might get when you add a group activity to your visit.
You can look forward to an enjoyable session where knowledge, teamwork, courage, and support are in focus. And we look forward to having fun together with you.
All income from activities goes directly to supporting The Zoo’s operations, conservation work, and educational efforts.

Creepy Crawlies
It might tingle in your palms, and goosebumps may appear when a leopard gecko or milk snake settles in your open hands. In this activity, you will have the opportunity to get up close to a world of crawling, creeping creatures.
Explore reptiles and insects and discover how diverse animals can be when you take a closer look at some of The Zoo’s smallest – and sometimes many-legged – inhabitants. Under the expert guidance of a Zoo guide, you will have the chance to handle selected reptiles and insects while learning more about their biology and behaviour.
We naturally take individual boundaries into account. For some participants, meeting these animals can be an intense experience, and therefore we do not recommend participation for anyone with a severe phobia.

When you purchase this activity, you can also add admission tickets to The Zoo for just DKK 145 per person.

A Visit from a Reptile
For many people, reptiles are unfamiliar animals often associated with fear, unease, and preconceived ideas. Can you relate? Now you have the opportunity to challenge those perceptions with this activity during your meeting day at The Zoo.
A Zoo guide will visit your meeting room with a snake or a lizard and introduce you to the animal’s biology and behaviour. Along the way, the guide will demystify long-standing myths and share fascinating insights that may give you a new – and more positive – perspective on the animal.
If you wish, you will have the opportunity to hold the animal under expert supervision – but you are, of course, also welcome to simply observe from a distance.
