Playgrounds at the zoo
Climb, crawls, jump and play like the animals at the zoo

Exploring Copenhagen Zoo and discovering animals from all over the world is wild in itself. But some days call for a little more action than a leisurely walk around the zoo.
Luckily, there are plenty of places where play can run free. Stop by the playgrounds near Kids' Zoo, the tigers, the leopards, the snowy owls or the education centre by the entrance.
Playground in Kids' Zoo
Here you’ll find everything a little adventurer could wish for. The playground in Kids' Zoo is Copenhagen Zoo's largest, with plenty of opportunities to climb high, whizz through the air and spin yourself dizzy.
You can also hop into the playground’s safari vehicle and imagine driving across the African savannah.

Playground by the tigers
Bring your best balance. Here, you can make your way across balance beams and stepping stones, and sneak past tall wooden posts and other obstacles. Are you as stealthy as a tiger?

Leopard slide
Have you ever seen how fast a leopard can run? On the leopard slide, you can (almost) reach the same top speed as you whizz down through the tube.
The slide is for children aged 6 and over.

Playground by the snowy owls
Hidden among grey rocks and boulders, you’ll find a playground full of fun climbing walls. Can you make it all the way to the top?

Playground by the classroom
There’s something here for everyone. Crawl through the tunnel, make your way through the obstacle course and test your balance on the springy stepping posts. Younger children can also take a ride down the small slide.
The playground by the classroom is only open at weekends and during school holidays.
