RULES AT THE ZOO
To ensure the safety and well-being of the animals, guests, staff, and the Zoo itself, all visitors must follow these rules.
The following is not allowed:
- Feed or annoy the animals
- Bring bicycles, roller skates, scooters, balloons, large flags, banners, sleds, footballs etc.
- Bring dogs or other pets
- Damage plants or enclosures
- Dump waste
- Exhibit threatning or aggressive behavior
- Annoy other visitors
- Use radios, musical instruments etc.
- Perform agitation or political propaganda
- Sell goods and distribute printed materials
- Bring large quantities of beer, wine or other alcoholic beverages
- Appear intoxicated
- Smoke/vape outside of the designated smoking areas
- Use open fire or BBQs
- Organize events with commercial purpose without prior agreement with Copenhagen Zoo
- Appear without clothes or shoes
- Relieve oneself outside the toilet facilities
Please note: Visting the Zoo is at your own risk. Staff may request to inspect the contents of bags and pockets and may ask for identification. Misuse of a Zoo Card may result in its suspension or confiscation. Guests must always follow staff instructions. Violations of these rules may lead to expulsion from the Zoo.
When you visit Copenhagen Zoo you contribute to saving threatened animals and supporting conservation projects worldwide. The Zoo works with everything from reintroducing endangered amphibians in Denmark to combating illegal poaching of rhinos in South Africa.
