For what purposes does ZOO process your data?
ZOO processes your personal data for the following purposes:
To process, fulfil and deliver the purchase of season cards and other events, products and/or services by use of ZOO’s Season Pass App;
For marketing and improvement of ZOO’s and our co-operation partners’ and sponsors’ offers, events, products and services;
For delivery of “ZOO Nyt” and electronic newsletters;
For administration and control of the season card and ZOO subscription;
For statistics, analysis, traffic measurement and behaviour-based targeting of marketing and improvement of technical functionality;
In connection with sponsoring, presents and donations to ZOO;
If necessary, in connection with the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and other legal obligations.
To use the season card you must upload a portrait photo of each card holder to the Season Pass App. The portrait photo will only be used by ZOO to control the identity of legitimate holders’ of season cards in connection with access to ZOO and to prevent misuse or fraud. Portrait photos are stored in ZOO’s database for this purpose.
The provision of personal data including portrait photo is required for entering into the contract regarding purchase of season cards by use of the Season Pass App. ZOO will not be able to provide season cards by use of the Season Pass App unless the requested personal information is provided to us.
The legal basis of ZOO’s processing of your personal data
The legal basis for our processing of your personal data is:
For the performance of the contract between you and ZOO regarding the season cards or other products or services you have purchased by use of the Season Pass App;
For the purposes of pursuing our legitimate interests or the legitimate interest of a third party where such interests are not overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subjects. Such legitimate interests of ZOO or other third parties may be our legitimate interest to:
market ZOO’s and our co-operation partners’ and sponsors’ events, products and services,
improve and optimise ZOO’s and our co-operation partners’ and sponsors’ events, products and services including our website,
the operation and administration of ZOO’s business, including to conduct controls and prevent fraud and misuse of season cards,
if necessary, to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Explicit consent, where required such as for use of portrait photos, for the purpose specified in clause 2.2.
You must be 18 years to purchase ZOO’s season card and by use of ZOO’s Season Pass App. You can purchase ZOO’s season cards for other persons including your family and keep all the season cards in your App.
If you become aware that a child under the age of 13 has given us personal data without consent from the parents or holder of parental responsibility over the child, please contact ZOO immediately.
With whom does ZOO share your personal data?
ZOO will share your personal data with the following recipients:
Our suppliers of IT services, suppliers of credit card payment solutions and other sub-processors;
Our external advisors and auditors;
Public authorities and courts if necessary or required by law;
ZOO may also share your personal data with our third party co-operation partners who provide product and services relating to ZOO if permitted by law or based on your consent.
For how long does ZOO store your personal data?
As a general rule, ZOO will store your data for a period of five (5) years from a purchase or other interaction with ZOO to comply with the Danish Bookkeeping Act and other applicable legislation. ZOO may keep your data for a longer period, if this is required by law or is otherwise necessary in order for ZOO to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Your rights in respect of your personal data
You have the right to exercise the following rights in connection with the personal data collected and processed by ZOO:
Right of access and right to rectification;
Right to erasure, see also clause 6.2;
Right to restriction of processing;
Right to data portability, see also clause 6.3
Right to object, see also clause 6.4.
Right to withdraw your consent, however such withdrawal does not concern the legality of any processing based on your consent until the withdrawal.
Upon your request we are obliged to erase your personal data if the following criteria are fulfilled:
if you withdraw your consent, provided that such consent is the legal basis for our processing; if the personal data is not correct or no longer necessary to fulfil the purpose of our processing; or
if the processing of your personal data is unlawful.
Data portability allows you, upon request, to receive such personal data concerning you that you yourself have provided to ZOO, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format provided that our processing of such data is based on a contract our your consent.
You can at any time object to our procession of your personal data for direct marketing purposes and in such case we shall no longer process your personal data for such purposes.
Please note that the exercise of your rights may be subject to conditions and limitations regarding the specific situation of processing.
